Carol Kirkwood, 59, took to Twitter today to share her woes with her 213,300 followers. The BBC Breakfast weather presenter admitted that she was having “one of those mornings”.
The Scottish star posted a series of tweets to give some insight into how she was feeling ahead of BBC Breakfast this morning.
“Ever have one of ‘those’ mornings??! I am having one now,” she penned with grimace and persevering face emojis.
Her followers were quick to flood the comments section with support, with many of them relating to the post.
“Keep going Carol! Hang in there. Thank you for bringing the sunshine every morning you’re on the show,” wrote Ian Ansell.

“Hope your day gets better Carol. You’re not alone, so don’t worry!” commented Golfman49.
“It will get better….have another cup of tea!” added Caroline Cross.
Vividoutcomes wrote: “Hugs…one of ‘those’ mornings – I get that. The day will work it’s way through from wobbly to steady.”
Some sent in snaps of their dogs to brighten up Carol’s day, including Jen O’Callaghan, who attached an adorable picture of her golden labrador alongside her comment.
“I have 9 & 7 year old boys and a 16 month yellow Labrador,” she penned.
“Most mornings are ‘one of those’. Hope your day improves. Charlie sends good vibes.”
GismoPATdog, an account for a therapy dog visiting Gloucester Royal Hospital, posted a sweet pic of two dogs taking a nap side by side.
The account owner wrote: “Hope your day gets better Carol – keep that beautiful smile on your face xx #letsmakeitaduvetday”

Some Twitter users even shared their own woes, with The Pilates Teacher writing: “Me too….extension for essay expires in less than 5 hours.”
Carol kindly replied: “Yikes! Good luck Lesley.”
While MundayRichard wrote: “Well I tested positive to covid and I have been vaccinated 3 times, so yes bad day and week, all will get better.”
In another tweet Carol gave some indication as to why her morning might not be going so well, writing: “For anyone just stepping outside… it’s cold!”
The weather presenter also took a moment to congratulate her fellow BBC Breakfast presenter Dan Walker following his successful Charleston with partner Nadiya Bychkova on Strictly Come Dancing on Saturday.
“Just loved watching @mrdanwalker @NadiyaBychkova in the @bbcstrictly studio on Saturday!
“Dan is so nimble and light footed! It was an absolute joy!!!” she tweeted with the hashtag “proud”.
Carol appeared on the 13th series of Strictly, but was eliminated from the show in week seven alongside her professional partner Pasha Kovalev.
