Chloe Lewis baby: everything you need to know about former TOWIE star’s son and pregnancy journey

Former TOWIE star Chloe Lewis has given birth to her first child with boyfriend Danny Flasher and everyone is gushing over the picture shared on the star's Instagram account.

Chloe, 28, shared the news to her one million followers, posting a photo of the newborn’s tiny feet writing: “Earlier this week our baby boy arrived. We are completely besotted & so so in LOVE.”

The gorgeous star announced her pregnancy on 22 May this year, with an adorable shot of her and her boyfriend, Essex banker, Danny, captioning it: “Half me, half you.”

She then revealed she told boyfriend Danny the good news on his birthday and that her pregnancy came during their first try.

Speaking to OK! magazine at the time, she said: “We talked about having babies in December and by mid January I was pregnant.”

Now, Chloe has given birth to her baby boy and everyone is gushing over him in the comments section already.

Michelle Keegan shared her excitement writing: “Congratulations darling,” with a string of love hearts. Whilst Natalya Wright, Love Island's Olivia Attwood and TOWIE's Billie Faiers were also amongst those quick to say congrats.

Chloe Lewis turbulent pregnancy

During Chloe’s pregnancy, she kept fans updated on her social media channels, sharing adorable shots of herself lying on the beach holding her bump, doing pilates and showcasing her growing tummy.

The star also shared a 3D scan when her baby was unborn on her Instagram stories, writing: “I can’t wait to see your face. One week.”

But Chloe’s journey hasn’t been without its bumps – Chloe heartbreakingly discovered that she had initially been pregnant with twins, but that she’d miscarried one.

She told OK!: “I found out I was pregnant and told Danny and my family. I got to eight weeks but I hadn’t had a scan.

But I started bleeding in the middle of the night; I went to the toilet and I thought the worst.” “Danny kept saying it was normal, he’s done loads of reading and said it was something about the baby nestling into the womb. But I said to him: ‘Dan, this is a lot of blood.’ So I thought I had miscarried.”

It then took three weeks to reveal whether Chloe had miscarried one of the twins, which she had via a condition called vanishing twin syndrome.

Chloe, talking about the bleeding during the night, said: “The next day I booked a scan with a private doctor, and she said: ‘There’s baby number one and baby number two.’ I was shocked.

“But then she said she could only see one of the embryos, so it was either behind the other or I had lost it. I told her about the bleeding and she said that I probably had lost it.”

Chloe admitted to grieving for three months following the loss of the identical twin, saying: “I felt like I had gone into a hole, like I had lost a child. I felt like I had done something wrong because it was my body.

Chloe’s family and boyfriend were a huge support system to her during her grieving process and Chloe revealed they had helped her recover mentally from the heartbreaking situation.

The brunette beauty explained: “It wasn’t until Danny said, ‘Chloe, you’ve got to snap out of this, you’ve got one healthy baby, not everyone gets this,” that she decided it was time to “sort [myself] out.”

Chloe Lewis' birth preparation

During the former TOWIE star’s pregnancy, information was a little thin on the ground, but it was revealed exclusively to Mirror Online that her parents’ pub in Stapleford Abbotts in Essex was decorated with blue foil balloons which where later taken down, suggesting the sex of the baby.

The star admitted to feeling anxious about her pregnancy, writing: “Still can’t believe I’m going to be momma. Absolutely frightens the life out of me but also makes me burst inside like my heart can’t handle it. I take it that’s normal. Not long baby.”

On her Instagram, Chloe had also been sharing photos of her changing home, in preparation of her baby.

Showing off her new crib earlier this month, Chloe told followers: “We are all ready for you little one… After such a wonderful summer with my family, I’ve spent the last weeks getting truly excited about our baby arriving.”

Chloe and Danny went public with their relationship on Valentine’s Day in 2017, around the time when they first started dating.

Prior to this, Chloe was in a long-term relationship with TOWIE co-star Jake Hall but the pair split in April 2016.
