Death Cab For Cutie’s Benjamin Gibbard Releases Frightened Rabbit Cover
Death Cab For Cutie frontman Benjamin Gibbard has shared his version of Frightened Rabbit‘s “Keep Yourself Warm.”
The song appears on the tribute album, Tiny Changes: A Celebration of Frightened Rabbit’s ‘The Midnight Organ Fight.’
Tiny Changes, which was already in the works before Frightened Rabbit frontman Scott Hutchison ended his life in May of 2018, is being released on Friday.
The band took to Twitter to explain its decision to mark the The Midnight Organ Fight‘s 10th anniversary.
“We came up with the idea of asking some pals to record their own interpretations of the songs on the album. It felt like a good way to celebrate everyone who had been a part of the last ten years of the band and we didn’t have to do any work ourselves,” Frightened Rabbit said.
The band added, “Every single person on Tiny Changes has been a part of our lives and Frightened Rabbit in a special way over the last ten years.”
