The cast of Death in Paradise are currently on the Caribbean island of Guadeloupe, filming scenes for the upcoming 11th series of the popular show. Joséphine Jobert, who plays DS Florence Cassell, was seen on set with Ralf Little, best known for his role as DI Neville Parker, in a social media video which he shared online.

The 36-year-old actress appeared to be struggling to drive the police force jeep, as the pair recorded a scene for the programme.

“Actual footage from a scene in the upcoming series of Death in Paradise,” Ralf told his 77,600 followers, when she uploaded the clip to Instagram.

“…you were all a part of it #DeathInParadise #DIP,” he went on to intriguingly add.

In the clip, Joséphine seemingly failed to get the vehicle into gear as her colleague watched on.

“Stunt driver Josie Jobert,” Ralf could be heard saying to fans in the footage.

“You like driving this jeep, don’t ya?” the 41-year-old remarked as his co-star battled with the gearstick.

“How’s that gearstick going?” he mocked.

“This is an actual scene. This isn’t real life,” he continued before adding: “Here we go,” as the car finally shifted forward.

As the moment came to an end, he told viewers that they had witnessed a scene being filmed in real time.

“There you go. An actual scene. You were part of it.

“Can’t tell you anything about it unfortunately,” the actor teased.

Many took to the comments section of the video to share their delight at the prospect of new episodes.

Ralf joined the cast of Death In Paradise in the ninth series, taking on the role of lead detective following the departure of Ardal O’Hanlon, who played DI Jack Mooney.

Joséphine, who first appeared in the fourth series of the police drama, returned last year after a short absence.

Earlier this month, Ralf shared a glimpse of his stunning accommodation, complete with sea views, as the cast and crew returned to the island to begin filming the new series.
