Gogglebox star Amy Tapper is feeling great after her impressive three and a half stone weight loss and is ready to begin dating.

The 20 year old TV star has revealed that she is feeling more confident in herself and is hoping to meet someone special.

Speaking to The Sun, Amy said: “I’ve lost around three and a half stone, I am more confident in myself and I love myself as a person more than I've ever done before.

“I am more confident in different ways than before – I used to be more confident with boys back then believe it or not but when you have a couple of bad experiences, boys can play a big part in your mind and your confidence.”

Speaking about her hopes of meeting someone special, Amy added: “I am looking to walk out of my house one day, drop my books and the love of my life comes and pick them up. I still think that is what will happen to me.'

Amy appeared on Celebs Go Dating in 2018 and she would love to re-appear on the E4 show now that she has "a new lease of life".

Amy shot to fame when she starred on Gogglebox from 2013 to 2018 alongside her father Jonathan, 52, her mother Nikki, 47, and brother Josh, 23.

The star has been showing off her three stone plus weight loss on Instagram with a number of glamorous pictures, with a recent image showing her confidently posing in a figure hugging dress.

In the snap, Amy is wearing a bright yellow dress as she holds her hand on her waist and beams from ear to ear.

The reality star revealed she chose to wear the bright outfit to help raise money for the charity, YoungMindsUK.

She wrote: "Wearing Yellow today for #helloyellow raising money for @youngmindsuk to help adults and teens with their mental health.

"This is a charity very close to my heart at the moment and the things they do for family's and friends is outstanding."

Amy concluded her post by writing: "Please help this charity by donating and wearing yellow and posting on social media #helloyellow."

This prompted Amy's supporters to comment using yellow love hearts, with many of her fans telling her how amazing she looked.

"You look beautiful," an Instagram user gushed.

"Amazing cause. Side note yellow is your colour," another fan told Amy.

A third added: "You look amazing!!!!! That dress looks amazing on you."

Amy lost weight after embarking on the Do The Unthinkable diet with her dad Jonathan.
