Jedward’s Edward ‘visited by spirits of dead relatives’ as he recovers from life-saving op

Edward Grimes has claimed he has been visited by the ghosts of his dead relatives following his life-saving trip to hospital.

The 29 year old was rushed to hospital in "excruciating pain" last week, and underwent surgery to remove his appendix.

After being discharged from the hospital, the Jedward singer has taken to social media to claim he has been visited by spirits in his bedroom.

Posting to Instagram after arriving home to older twin John, the Under Pressure hit maker told his 209,000 followers: "I'm back home and I've seen two white spirit auras radiating energy in my room.

"Honestly think it's past family members welcoming me back. I'm not an expert but I know the energy I felt and it was very present. This has happened in the past in two other locations so I know what I'm seeing.

"Almost a glow of energy radiating a pulsing effect if that makes sense. I feel this sense of calm and love surrounding me."

The former X Factor contestant admitted his was initially scared when he first felt the presence a few years ago, he has now come to understand it.

He told his fans after the nighttime experience: "Literally I had an insane night, at 2 o'clock at night experiencing all that was just crazy."

Edward announced he was "emotional" to be leaving hospital on Sunday, telling his fans: "The most insane hospital trip of my life…

"Had the kindest caring soul next to me, met someone else who I could marry someday, had such an eventful time like it's gonna be a chapter in a book someday or just in my thoughts.

"But I've experienced so much emotions in the last 48hrs. The warmest kindest energy."

He continued: "Never been this vulnerable and just overcoming it all I feel this new energy from within me.

"The pain and laughs all mixed into hilarious chats and bonds with wonderful memories that should be tragic but made me grow.

"I feel like I've been on a wild dream and I'm happy u all enjoyed the trip too but u can only share so much on Instagram."

As he left his ward for the final time, the former X Factor star was heard tearfully saying: "I'm gonna miss these hallways I used to walk up trying to get exercise and get my bladder going.

"I'm gonna miss you so much," he continued, writing over the video: "Sorry for the dramatics but I'm Emotional AF."
