John Barrowman has been hit with claims he's been axed from his role as a judge on Dancing on Ice.

The 54 year old TV star is said to have bee axed from DOI following allegations he exposed himself on the sets of Doctor Who and Torchwood.

John later apologised via his lawyers for "toomfoolery" but insisted he did "not recall" incidents alleged by two women in The Guardian article.

According to the publication, several sources, including two women, claimed that the Dancing On Ice star exposed himself on set. However, the paper reports that witnesses have described the incidents as "inappropriate pranks" and not "anything amounting to sexually predatory behaviour".

In a statement in response to these claims, he said: "With the benefit of hindsight, I understand that upset may have been caused by my exuberant behaviour and I have apologised for this previously.

"Since my apology in November 2008, my understanding and behaviour have also changed."

John later faced calls to be axed from Dancing on Ice by Tory MP Alec Shelbrooke, following the claims.

MP Alec said: "Inappropriate behaviour like this is not acceptable no matter what the circumstances.

“ITV and the BBC have a responsibility with the standards they set."

Now, it has been reported that John's place on Dancing on Ice is uncertain, according to The Sun on Sunday.

A source told the publication: "Ever since allegations against John came to light, discussions have been ongoing over his future on the panel of Dancing On Ice.

"But the feeling now is there is no way we can invite him back. ITV has shown they are prepared to act decisively when stars are accused of inappropriate behaviour. And it seems this situation will not be the exception to the rule."

But, an ITV spokesperson told OK!: "Any discussions regarding the 2022 series of Dancing on Ice are very premature. Production has yet to commence."

John joined Dancing on Ice as a judge in 2019. Speaking of his new role, John admitted he's the naught little brother on the judging panel.

He told OK! in December 2019: "Chris Dean looks at me and he’s like, 'Here’s trouble.' I’m the naughty little brother – well, I shouldn’t say that because Ashley is younger than I am – I’m the naughty big brother. But Ashley is lovely too. He and I have already stashed sweets under our desk so between takes we can sit and eat our sweets."
