Lily Allen and Stranger Things star husband David Harbour enjoy romantic boat trip on holiday
Lily Allen and David Harbour have been soaking up the sun after jetting off to the Caribbean for a Christmas holiday.
The couple enjoyed a romantic boat trip on St Barts on Wednesday (December 28), where they floated in a small boat in the water off the Caribbean island.
Singer-songwriter Lily, 37, donned a green top and denim shorts, and carried a grey sweater, which she kept close to her body.
Her husband, Stranger Things actor David Harbour, 47, sported a black t-shirt while sunning in the boat, but stripped down to his trunks later in the day, when he decided to take a dip in the waters.
Lily and David first started dating back in 2019, and got married in a Las Vegas ceremony in 2020. David is now the step-father to Lily's two daughters Ethel, 10, and Marine, nine, who she shares with ex husband Sam Cooper.
Giving a rare insight into his adjusted family life earlier this year, David told The Times: “I’ve learned a lot about myself. You really have to show up for other human beings in a truly selfless way.
“I was, like, ‘Whoa, this is the hardest thing I’ve ever had to deal with.’ The relationship I have with them now is really, really special. But, you know, it takes time and effort.”
The Violent Night star has not been married before and does not have any children from a previous relationship.
In 2021, he also discussed becoming a step-father, in an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, where he saidit has given him a "new love" he "never had."
Speaking to show host Ellen, he said: "They're British and I'm this cheese-fed American man and they really do like the fact they have an extra jungle gym.
"They crawl all over me, they make it their job to try to hurt me as much as they can. My lower back is destroyed."
However, he did go on to share that he "loves" his relationship with Ethel and Marnie and how they have made him understand why people want children.
He continued: "I have never experienced this kind of – I was always a single guy, who has been a bachelor for a long time, I've been an artist, I wanted to travel the world and do my work.
"And I never really wanted to have kids. And I get it now, why everybody has kids. Because it's kind of like the meaning of life, you pass the torch to these other individuals."
