Love Island star Molly-Mae caught plugging her Instagram brands in the villa
Love Island star Molly-Mae Hague has been caught advertising her Instagram brands in the villa.
The Instagram influencer makes a living by teaming up with companies to plug their products on her social media pages.
One of the deals she has is with a clothing company called Oh Polly, and she's been showing off all their latest collections by wearing them in the villa.
She's worn at least four Oh Polly bikinis as well as other items of clothing including two dresses – giving the company major TV exposure.
Islanders are expressly forbidden from promoting products while in the villa unless it's part of a deal cleared by producers.
The contract which is signed by all the stars states: "You will not advertise, mention or 'plug' any product or service… (except as directed by us)."
Another clause adds: "You warrant and agree that you have not entered into any commercial, endorsement or sponsorship agreement(s)…
"Or agreed to accept payment or other valuable consideration in respect of your appearance on the Programme…
" (e.g. you haven't done any kind of product placement deal or a deal to wear certain brands of clothing or jewellery in the Programme)."
If contestants are found to have breached the contestant agreement they can be disqualified or withdrawn from the show.
It is not known whether Molly-Mae has an agreement with Oh Polly to wear their clothes on Love Island or if she's just wearing them because they were gifted to her by the company.
However, a Love Island source has insisted the influencer hasn't broken any rules by wearing all the Oh Polly products during filming.
The news comes just days after it Mirror Online revealed Arabella Chi had agreed to promote her mate Montana Brown's swimwear brand Swim Society by wearing it in the villa.
She was seen in a £40 back belted swimsuit with cut-out middle as she posed with Danny Williams during an episode last week.
Montana was thrilled to see the cossie on TV, and raved about her success on Instagram , writing: "When you see @swimsociety make an appearance on @loveisland ."
She's previously enlisted celebrity pals including Gabby Allen to her plug her designs.
Arabella was later kicked out of the villa at the dumping along with Tom Walker.
A representative for Love Island told us: "The islanders are allowed to bring their own clothes into the villa. "
