Oasis could re-form says record boss addressing Liam and Noel feud
Some Might Say there’s no way warring brothers Noel and Liam Gallagher will share a stage again.
But the former boss of Creation Records has told Oasis fans he reckons the rockers will eventually Acquiesce.
Tim Abbott said: “Do I think they’re gonna re-form? Yes, I do. It’s the original indie soap, it will run longer than Coronation Street .”
Abbott spoke on documentary Liam vs Noel: Brothers at War, charting the highs and lows of the group – which split in 2009.
He says they lost the plot after second album (What’s The Story) Morning Glory? made them global superstars in 1995, adding: “You have that in your life or in your career and everyone is going to go a bit potty. The wheel was gonna come off the wagon.”
At their peak, the band played Knebworth two nights in a row in 1996, in front of 250,000.
And biographer Paolo Hewitt tells filmmakers if Liam, 46, and Noel, 52, do patch things up they “could play 52 nights in a row at Knebworth”.
- Liam vs Noel: Brothers at War is on Channel 5 tonight at 10pm.
