Disney and Airbnb Join to Recreate Hundred Acre Wood from 'Winnie the Pooh'

Airbnb has joined in on Disney‘s 95th-anniversary celebration to give travelers a chance to stay at a Winnie the Pooh-inspired house in the Hundred Acre Wood.

This “Bearbnb” is located in Ashdown Forest and sleeps up to four guests and is hosted by the Disney-appointed Winnie the Pooh illustrator, Kim Raymond — the artist behind Winnie the Pooh for over 30 years. Raymond took details directly from the works of E.H. Shepard to recreate the home and comments, “I have been illustrating Winnie the Pooh for thirty years and I continue to be inspired by the classic decorations of E.H. Shepard and the more recent Disney stories. The ‘Bearbnb’ is a unique experience that brings the charm of Pooh to life for fans, whilst honoring the original adventures that have been so important to many people for 95 years.”

Raymond will have this home listed for two separate stays on September 24 and 25 for roughly $130 USD per night. For more information head over to the dedicated listing.

In other home property news, KUD properties’ “El Cemento Uno House” is a private desert getaway.
