New Lawsuit Accuses Pornhub of Profiting off Leaked Videos

Following serious allegations of hosting user-uploaded scenes of child sexual abuse, Pornhub is now facing a lawsuit that accuses the leading online adult entertainment website and parent company MindGeek of profiting off leaked videos.

The civil complaint filed by Brown Rudnick LLP on behalf of 34 alleged victims of sexual exploitation, including minors, rape and human trafficking, is seeking compensation for damages and protection for the victims. The group alleges that Pornhub and MindGeek has created a business structure that monetizes nonconsensual sexual content. Aside from Pornhub, MindGeek operates over 100 adult websites like RedTube, Tube8 and YouPorn with around 3.5 billion views per month.

Pornhub is reportedly reviewing and investigating the civil complaint and has denied the accusations launched about its business structure.

In case you missed it, OnlyFans is set to pivot away from pornography and is seeking $1 billion USD valuation.
