Craig Revel Horwood, 55, has been a judge on Strictly Come Dancing since its inception in 2004. The judge sits on the panel alongside Motsi Mabuse, and Shirley Ballas, as fellow judge Bruno Tonioli has had to pull out of his role this year due to other commitments. What did Craig Revel Horwood look like in his younger years?

Appearing on ITV’s Lorraine this morning, photos of Craig when he was younger flashed on the television screens.

Craig is admired for his flawless skin, styled hair and super white teeth.

He is also known for his lavish suits, often stylising designer numbers in a variety of different colours and fabrics.

However he didn’t always look like he does now.

Some of the photos Craig revealed on the television were unrecognisable.

When Craig was in his teenage years, he had long thick black hair parted to one side.

He also had a sweep fringe which fell across his forehead.

Facially, the star also looked very different, with bushy eyebrows and thick wavy hair.

As a toddler, Craig had a lot of black hair and thick eyebrows.

Discussing his new book with Lorraine, Craig explained how he has always wanted to write a book about the time he was sharing a house with his friends.

Speaking about his youth, a photo popped up onto the screen of Craig when he was much younger.

Lorraine said: “You looked very sort of moody, you know like somebody in one of those very serious bands, like an Indie band.”

Craig joked and said: “That’s when I was a supermodel darling.”

The ITV host added: “Look at you, you look gorgeous, look at those cheekbones, you could cut bread with them.”

Craig replied: “I know, I wish I had those back again.”

In the photo, the Strictly judge had curly hair with a long fringe in a mullet hairstyle.

His chilled cheekbones framed his face and Craig also had a small amount of facial hair, which he has not had for years.

Opting for a more casual look in his younger years, the star wore a checkered shirt with a loose fitted t-shirt underneath.

When Craig is seen out and about now, he tends to opt for smarter clothing such as suits.

How much is Craig paid for his role on Strictly Come Dancing?

One of his sources of income is from Strictly where he is said to earn around £100,000 for each series.

However his estimated yearly earnings are around £300,000, which includes his other lines of work from theatre and pantomimes.

The judge also has money in property and owns a couple of houses, one of which he lives in with his fiancé in Hampshire.
