Family gas & electricity bills will DOUBLE to £2,000 next year, suppliers warn
FAMILY energy bills will double to £2,000 next year, suppliers warn.
The gas and electricity crisis will deal a £25billion hit to consumers, they say.
The alert came as Business Secretary Kwasi Kwarteng held emergency talks with suppliers.

He said: “It looks almost certain that bills are going to reach £2,000 per household — that is double what they were paying last year.”
Extreme cold weather in parts of the world, nuclear outages in France and lower gas flows from Russia are raising prices.
