A new visual brainteaser has challenged people to name popular movie characters based on their silhouettes alone.

However, it's certainly tricky as only 4% of people who took part in a recent survey of 500 participants could identify all six correctly.

The brainteaser, created by LeoVegas, is sure to put even the biggest film fans to the test.

Sound easy? Well why not give it a try…

We've included all of the pictures below you can mull over and the answers are below each snap.

Try not to read the answer before submitting your guess though and see how many you've got right!

Picture number 1

The first snap, if you haven't guessed already guessed is the silhouette of Borat.

Sacha Baron Cohen has been told to stay out of Kazakhstan after releasing his second Borat movie.

The 49-year-old star brought back the fictional Kazakh journalist for a surprise second outing.

Since its release, it has already caused controversy in America.

Donald Trump’s lawyer Rudy Giuliani dismissed a clip as a "complete fabrication" which appeared to show him with his hands down his trousers.

And the character has once again not gone down well in Kazakhstan.

Have you guessed it already? Well if you went for Toy Story's Buzz Lightyear then you'd be right.

Along with Sheriff Woody, Buzz is one of the two lead characters in all four Toy Story movies.

He also appeared in the movie Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: The Adventure Begins and the television series spin-off Buzz Lightyear of Star Command.

Buzz is voiced by Tim Allen in the Toy Story films, a few video games, and the Buzz Lightyear movie, while Patrick Warburton provides the voice for the TV series.

Chris Evans will play the human version of the character in the next film: Lightyear, which will explore his backstory.

Picture number 3

Got number three yet? Well we can tell you that it's John McClane – the main protagonist of the Die Hard film series, based on Roderick Thorp's novel Nothing Lasts Forever.

McClane was played by actor Bruce Willis, and is known for his sardonic one-liners, including the famous catchphrase "Yippee-ki-yay, motherf**ker".

He was originally based on the fictional character Detective Joe Leland from Roderick Thorp's bestselling 1979 novel Nothing Lasts Forever.

Other aspects are also taken from Frank Malone from Walter Wager's 1987 novel 58 Minutes (adapted as Die Hard 2).

Picture number 4

If you guessed that number four is Harry Potter character Hermione Granger, then you would be well and truly correct.

Hermione, played by Emma Watson, first appears in Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone, as a new student on her way to Hogwarts.

After Harry and Ron save her from a mountain troll in the girls' restroom, she becomes best friends with the pair and often uses her quick wit and intelligence to lend aid in tricky situations.

Picture number 5

Did you guess the shady silhouette of number five? Well it's none other than Michael Corleone, the main protagonist of Mario Puzo's 1969 novel, The Godfather.

In the three Godfather films, Michael was played by Al Pacino, for which he was twice-nominated for Academy Awards.

Michael is the youngest son of Vito Corleone, a Sicilian immigrant who builds a Mafia empire.

After his father's death, Michael succeeds him as the don of the Corleone crime family.

Picture number 6

Last one, and maybe the toughest one? Well done if you realised it was John Wick, the fictional main character of the John Wick film series.

Wick, played by Keanu Reeves, is a legendary hitman who retired until a gang invades his house, steals his car, and kills the puppy his late wife Helen had given him.

This sees him on a missing of revenge and sets off a series of events that lead him to be hunted by a huge section of the criminal underworld.
