Pilou Asbæk — the Danish star who played evil Euron Greyjoy on “Game of Thrones” — is coming back to HBO.

Asbæk plays a prosecutor on “The Investigation,” about the bizarre 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall by inventor Peter Madsen aboard his personal submarine.

The series, from “Mindhunter” director Tobias Lindholm, premieres Feb. 1, reports said.

The actor also stars in Netflix’s Danish hit “Borgen,” as well as in Lindholm’s Oscar-nominated 2015 film, “A War.”

“The Investigation” already has aired in Denmark. HBO is also working on a “Game of Thrones” prequel.

Earlier this year, while serving a life sentence, Madsen reportedly escaped from prison with a bomb threat, but he was quickly recaptured carrying fake weapons, including a “bogus” explosives belt.
