Greggs to trial late night opening hours and a new dinner meal deal
Greggs is extending its opening hours at a number of locations.
Soon, more customers will be able to stop off at the bakery chain in the evening.
And if that wasn’t exciting enough, a late night meal deal will be launching in selected stores.
Here’s everything you need to know about the changes.
Greggs stores tend to be open for around 12 hours a day.
Although timings vary from store to store, the bakeries tend to open their doors at 6am and close at 6pm.
There are only a few exceptions to this rule.
Newcastle has a 24-hour Greggs, while some London outlets serve customers until 11pm.
But now, late night opening times are being trialled at more locations in the UK.
From October, Greggs will be allowing more punters through its doors at evening time.
Details of the trial are currently very limited.
While we don’t know how many stores will be open for longer, we do know that a new meal deal will be launching in selected outlets.
A special dinner promotion will allow customers to bag a few different items in an affordable bundle.
This will include hot bakes, sides and a drink.
Daily Star Online has contacted Greggs for more information.
If the bakery chain announces any more details on its late night opening times, this article will be updated.
Until then, check out the Greggs secret menu items you can only get regionally.
