Princess Diana's niece Lady Kitty Spencer has given a glimpse inside her romantic summer in Italy with her husband Michael Lewis.

The newlywed, 30, and fashion tycoon Michael, 62, who tied the knot in a lavish ceremony at a grand Italian villa after three years together, have shared a peek inside her trip to the Amalfi Coast in Italy after spending time in France earlier in the week.

Lady Kitty and Michael are staying at the historic five-star Il San Pietro in Positano, where a classic room can cost up to £3,079 per night for two people in September, with the model describing the 'small slice of paradise' as 'home sweet home' to her 740,000 Instagram followers.

The eldest child of Charles Spencer, 57, also panned to the luscious scenery of Ravello and looked gorgeous as she posed in an orange Dolce and Gabbana midi dress, for whom she is an ambassador, paired with statement earrings.

Lady Kitty revealed that she had also enjoyed a night at the five-star Palazzo Avino which boasts one-star Michelin dining and is perched on the cliffs of the medieval Italian village of Ravello.

The Palazzo Avino is also known as the 'Pink Palace' and boasts gorgeous views of terraced gardens and the stunning azure water.

After taking in the view, the model panned to the glittering coastline as the newlyweds enjoyed a romantic meal on the clifftop at the exclusive Rosselini's restaurant.

Rosselini's is regarded as one of the most romantic dinner spots in Ravello and offers dishes a-la-carte or as a delicious set tasting menu.

Sharing a clip of the beautiful china set, Lady Kitty shared a card from the hotel, which read: "Thank you for staying with us. Congratulations."

The model captioned the post: "Thank you for your kindness and the most unforgettable romantic evening."

Soaking up the sunshine, Lady Kitty also enjoyed an afternoon with businesswoman Natasha Poonawalla as the pair 'twinned' in matching Dolce and Gabbana against the backdrop of the stunning turquoise water.

It comes after Lady Kitty said 'I do' to retail multimillionaire Michael as the sun set over the Villa Aldobrandini in Frascati in July.

Kitty spoke for the first time since the wedding on her Instagram page last month to acknowledge her half-brothers, Louis Spencer, Viscount Althorp, and Samuel Aitken, who walked her down the aisle after her dad failed to make her big day.

She said: "The proudest moment of my life, without a doubt, was having my brothers walk me down the aisle."

She continued: "Thank you to our family and friends for the most unforgettable weekend filled with more love and laughter and happiness than I have ever known It still feels like a dream.”

There has been no official announcement as to why her father was not at her wedding, however an insider to the family told MailOnline that the Earl’s absence from his daughter's big day may be due to a shoulder-related injury.

The source told Mail Online: "Charles recently suffered an injury and perhaps that will be the reason for him not travelling, but it is just easier for everyone that he is not there."
