If you consider yourself a Love Island superfan, then you’ll remember Chloe Crowhurst and her lengthy blonde locks from season three of the hit ITV2 dating competition back in 2017.

However, in a major hair transformation, she’s now become the latest celeb to ditch her extensions in favour of a shorter, more natural look.

Posting to her Instagram stories, Chloe, 24, showed off her new hairstyle in a series of clips shared with her 288K followers.

“One of many WELL needed pamper days,” Chloe says while posing in the salon chair.

“Colour refresh,” she adds, tagging Nottingham-based salon M Hair Extensions.

It appears that Chloe had been looking forward to getting herself booked in for a haircut and colour, as the star took to Instagram last week to share her excitement.

“Can’t wait for James @mhairnottingham to freshen up this mane,” she wrote on her stories.

Not only did Chloe opt for a fresher, brighter blonde shade for summer, but she’s also had her hair extensions removed, much like her fellow Love Island stars Molly-Mae Hague, Harley Brash and Laura Anderson.

The short hair trend is quickly catching on, with more and more reality stars trading in their Rapunzel-style locks for a cool crop.

Prior to her appointment, Chloe was sporting a darker blonde shade with super-long hair extensions down to her waist.

“Back to blonde and extension free,” Chloe writes on her Instagram stories.

“How long do you think it’ll last,” she jokes.

If you didn’t tune in to Chloe’s season of Love Island, the 24 year old was famously caught up in drama before the show aired after TOWIE’s Jon Clark revealed they were dating before she arrived in the villa.

Jon appeared on the first ever season of the dating show, alongside Jessica Hayes, Max Morley and Joshua Ritchie.

Chloe was booted out of the show on day 23 by her fellow contestants, alongside Sam Gowland – after the pair were dubbed the “least compatible”.

Chloe also coupled up with both Kem Cetinay and Chris Hughes during her stay, but unfortunately left unlucky in love.
