Love Islands Jessie is playing a game with Will and romance will struggle long term
Love Island's Jessie Wynter may not be all that she seems, according to a body language expert.
Australian contestant Jessie is currently loved up with TikTok farmer Will Young, with their only hiccup so far being when Will kissed a bombshell during Casa Amor.
But in recent episodes, tensions have risen over Claudia Fogarty’s relationship, or lack of one, with financial advisor Casey O’Gorman.
Body language expert Adrianne Carter, AKA The Face Whisperer, has analysed the Aussie bombshell's behaviour, saying that "she knows how to play the game."
During Monday night’s episode, which also saw Samie Elishi and Tom Clare enter the hideaway, Casey finally bit the bullet and told Claudia that he was choosing a recent bombshell, Rosie Seabrook, over her.
Casey then took issue with the fact Tom Clare and Will seemed to support Claudia through the breakup and negate his feelings.
While the lads seemed to move past the tiff fairly quickly, Jessie pulled Casey aside for a rather awkward chat on Tuesday.
“I’m just letting you know my opinion,” Jessie told Casey, who replied, “Okay, I don’t really care.”
According to Adrianne, during her conversation with Casey, her tone of voice dipped, which is a sign that she’s saying the right thing, but possibly doesn’t feel as strongly as she’s making out.
As Jessie walked away from Casey, Adrianne also notes that Will turned his lips inward as he approached her to ask: "How did that conversation go?’"
"The lip turning inwards is a sign he’s holding in his words and feelings in the moment. It’s also a sign of disapproval," she says.
During the couple's discussion, Adrianne describes Jessie's eye contact as "imprisoning him with her eyes to get her point across."
"It’s very intense and too much," she adds.
When asked by Will did she agree that sometimes "there doesn't need to be involvement from other parties, Jessie went on to say, "No, I do agree."
"This means she doesn’t agree," says Adrianne. "The 'no' negates her next words of agreement."
When Will told Jessie, “I don’t want to get caught up in drama,” we saw a mixed smile with sadness.
Adrianne said: "He genuinely doesn’t want to get caught in drama and is sad as I think he’s realising Jessie might be creating drama."
"Will is genuine in his feelings to Jessie, but I’m not so sure of her genuineness towards Will long term. She could be playing the game."
Love Island continues every night at 9pm on ITV2 and ITVX.
