My girlfriend doesn't fancy me anymore but I can't move out – I'm devastated
DEAR DEIDRE: MY girlfriend says she no longer fancies me and is ending our relationship, even though we never argue and still get on so well. It just does not make any sense.
I am 31, she is 28 and we have a daughter aged three. We are good parents, we joke about things, but we never get time to be together alone.
Our daughter has never slept well, and is up until ten every night, whatever we try.
Recently my girlfriend told me she loves me now only as a best friend and she refuses to try to fix things.
We cannot afford to live separately so we are having to live together. I love her so much, but she is completely emotionless when I try to talk to her.
I am devastated.

DEIDRE SAYS: Just as it’s possible to fall out of love, it is possible to fall back in love, but you need couple time as well as parent time.
You decide when your daughter goes to bed. If she then gets up, keep putting her back to bed quietly with no chatting. Read The Good Sleep Guide For Kids by Sammy Margo.
