‘The Blacklist’ and ‘Twin Peaks’ actor Clark Middleton dead at 63
Clark Middleton has died at 63 of the West Nile Virus.
The actor, director and producer passed away on Sunday, according to a statement in Variety.
“Thank you for your love and support for My Mister,” his partner Elissa Middleton confirmed Monday on Twitter. “I cannot count the number of times he said ‘Give the world your best and the best will come back to you,’ quoting his father Mel. And he meant it! He is in the light, happy and free, and sends love.”
Best known for his work in “The Blacklist,” “Twin Peaks” and “Kill Bill: Vol. 2,” the Hollywood veteran was fortunate to work with some of the best directors in the industry, including Quentin Tarantino, Robert Rodriguez, Ang Lee and Richard Linklater.
“I am so happy thinking of his newfound freedoms and I know his transition will be graced by the beautiful souls he loved who preceded him,” Elissa also said on Facebook. “We are so happy you loved him too and hope you will join us celebrating his remarkable life.”
She later asked fans to support the Clark Middleton Memorial Fund for arthritis research in his honor.
“Clark was a passionate advocate for and a proud member of both the 25% of the US with a disability, and the 54M Americans with Arthritis,” she tweeted Tuesday. To donate, follow steps to support the Clark Middleton Memorial Fund on Arthritis.org.
