Countryfile's Helen Skelton, 38, welcomed her third child with her husband, England professional rugby league player Richie Myler, with the star revealing she's "still in a bubble".

Days following the baby's arrival, Helen shared a snap on her Instagram story of her holding her baby's hand – the couple are yet to announce their new baby son's name.

Alongside the adorable snap of the mother-baby duo, she wrote: "Still in a bubble. Not leaving anytime soon."

The Blue Peter star made the initial announcement of her new bundle of joy on Instagram on New Years Eve, sharing a heartfelt snap of her hubby Richie carrying their new family member out of the hospital.

In the build-up to giving birth, Helen, who presents Channel 5's Winter On The Farm, revealed she didn't want to give birth on TV but teased that "it's a risk she was willing to take".

The former Blue Peter presenter said: "Both my sons were early so I certainly don’t want to be giving birth live on TV but it’s a risk I’m willing to take."

If it was the case, it wouldn't have been the first unexpected announcement the star would've experienced.

Helen shared that she gave birth to her son Louis in a house in France surrounded by firemen after his unexpected arrival in 2017.

Although Helen and her partner Richie have yet to announce the name of their new baby, they already have two kids together – Ernie, who's now six and four-year-old Louis.

On Instagram, the 38-year-old presenter from Carlisle often invites her followers into a glimpse of her personal life and time at work as she often teases behind-the-scenes footage whilst filming.

Days before the star was about to pop the little one, she posted a black-and-white photo of herself heavily pregnant, which read, "Two reasons …. my @j.r.m.photography influences me and because the kids think this is a hilarious state of affairs."

Helen, who married professional rugby player Richie Myler in 2017, celebrated their ninth wedding anniversary on 22 December.

She's best known for hosting Blue Peter and, more recently, Countryfile.

Her hosting commitments have included the BBC's swimming coverage for the Olympics, World Championships, and she was a contestant on SAS: Who Dares Wins in 2020.
