Piers Morgan in spat with ex-Corrie star over ITV studio anti-vax protest
Piers Morgan has got himself in yet another Twitter spat and he certainly didn’t hold back when it came to former Coronation Street star Sean Ward.
The journalist and former Good Morning Britain presenter commented on the anti-vax protest that happened earlier this week in London.
Sean Ward, who played Callum Logan in the legendary ITV soap for a year from 2014 to 2015, took part in the anti-vax protest.
The 33-year-old actor was one of the thousands who tried to march through the TV studios at the Television Centre in London.
Piers, 56, called Sean a “clown” for taking part in the protests and calling those involved “imbeciles".
However, the soap actor could be seen stopping the protestors from clashing with the police.
He could be heard shouting “stop” to those involved and putting his arm out.
The journalist then retweeted the clip of the protestors and the raid.
Alongside the video was the original tweet, which read: "NOW – Protest outside BBC Television Centre in West London."
