Ryanair bans James Corden after nasty and abusive restaurant outburst

James Corden has been banned from flying with Ryanair following an alleged outburst at a restaurant.

The Late Late Show host "apologised profusely" after he apparently "yelled like crazy" at staff while eating at a top New York City restaurant.

Restaurateur Keith McNally, the owner of the Balthazar chain, said he had dropped a ban imposed on Corden after the Gavin and Stacey star rang him up to apologise for shouting at staff over an omelette.

In a bizarre twist, the budget airline got itself involved in the situation by saying that it would be banning Corden from its flights due to his behaviour.

"James Corden BANNED from Ryanair," the tweet reads.

The post featured a picture of Corden on an aeroplane with a red prohibited sign across his face and has been liked more than 200,000 times.

Mr McNally had taken to Instagram following the incident to accuse Corden of being "extremely nasty" to his employees.

The restauranteur labelled Corden a "hugely gifted comedian" but a "tiny cretin of a man" and revealed that he had been unpleasant to employees on two separate occasions.

He later took to Instagram to say Corden had called him and apologised unreservedly.

"Having f***** up myself more than most people, I strongly believe in second chances," McNally wrote, before suggesting a deal to iron out the mishap.

"So if James Corden lets me host his Late Late Show for 9 months, I’ll immediately rescind his ban from Balthazar," he joked, before adding: "No, of course not. But… anyone magnanimous enough to apologise to a deadbeat layabout like me (and my staff) doesn’t deserve to be banned from anywhere. Especially Balthazar."
