Amanda Holden jokes she'll wear a 'polo neck' on tomorrow's BGT after her nipples sparked Ofcom complaints
AMANDA Holden has joked that she will wear a "polo neck" on tomorrow's Britain's Got Talent after her nipples sparked Ofcom complaints last week.
The 49-year-old star appeared on This Morning today to promote her debut solo album, and host Eamonn Holmes couldn't resist asking about her risqué outfits.
As the interview drew to a close, the cheeky presenter asked: "What are we going to see tomorrow night? What's going to be on show?"
Undeterred, Amanda gestured as she quickly joked back: "Oh, I'm wearing a polo neck – with sleeves down to here and the neck up to there."
Eamonn then replied: "Don't distract from the music!"
And if Amanda could have her way, her nipples would have even more attention, with the star quipping: "I said to Piers Morgan, they've got their own management now so they'll probably do Life Stories as they have a lot to get off their chest!"
The beauty will be performing on tomorrow night's BGT semi-final as well as judging, and she has already teased a glimpse at the plunging gown she will be wearing.
Filming was pre-recorded due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic – and there isn't a polo neck in sight.
Instead, defiant Amanda is standing her ground as she flashes her enviable figure once again, posting a sneak peek to her Instagram page yesterday.
In the photo, the star is staring dreamily into the distance, her blonde hair styled into soft curls.
Amanda is sitting on the stage and wearing a plunging dress with diamante detailing.
She captioned the post: "Can’t wait to perform on @bgt on Saturday night #SongsFromMyHeart".
In the previous episode of BGT, Amanda's sexy outfit sent fans into a tizzy as they questioned whether the star had suffered a wardrobe malfunction.
Hot-under-the-collar viewers took to social media on the night to claim they'd seen Amanda's nipples in her daring dress.
The provocative attire on the family show attracted over 200 official complaints to Ofcom.
Amanda later took to her Instagram page to deny that her nipples were on show, explaining that she was wearing a corset.
She said: "Who has nipples this close to their cleavage?!.
"FYI. A boned corset dented the girls all night," by which she added a couple of fried eggs.
Amanda is no stranger to dividing fans with her Britain's Got Talent outfits, also sparking Ofcom complaints in the past for her racy dresses.
But she has remained defiant in the face of the backlash, continuing to show off her impressive figure while filming the programme.
