Ant and Dec Limitless Win fans switch off as they moan show is too hard
Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly's Limitless Win didn't seem to be the hit they'd hoped as many viewers complained they were "switching off" just minutes after its debut on ITV.
Many online users grumbled that the format had been "too complicated" to grasp as others moaned that they had no idea what was going on.
One tweet read: "Bored already with #LimitlessWin #antanddec."
"Switching to #TheWheel now because wtf is this format on #LimitlessWin about?" groaned one person.
"Could they make this anymore complicated? #LimitlessWin," said a second.
"What the hell's going on??#LimitlessWin #antanddec, fumed a third.
While others seemed to believe the game had similarities to Bamboozled – the gameshow played by Joey Tribbiani (Matt LeBlanc) on Friends.
One person wrote: "Feels like I’m watching Bamboozle #antanddec #limitlesswin
A second agreed: "Watching Ant & Dec on #LimitlessWin reminds me of Joey practicing Bamboozle in Friends. There's a lot to keep up with!"
"I’m getting Bamboozle vibes it’s so complicated #Limitless #antanddec #itv," chimed a third.
The dynamic duo appeared on Friday's episode of Lorraine to introduce their new gameshow.
They explained to the Scottish host that their new programme was incomparable with any other in the world – due to there being no jackpot in place and endless amounts of cash up for grabs.
Contestants are given lives to play with and asked questions where they have to accurately guess the right numbers to secure money in the bank.
On tonight's debut show Catherine and Will became the first ever players.
The pair certainly did not play it safe and gambled with one life left on the table and managed to walk away with £500,000.
Limitless Win returns to ITV next Saturday night
