Bake off legend Mary Berry to make epic TV return in new BBC cooking show Fantastic Feasts
BELOVED baker Mary Berry has delighted fans by announcing that she'll be returning to TV for a new three-part series.
The former Bake-Off judge will star in Fantastic Feasts, which will follow her as she attempts to transform the culinary skills of kitchen newbies.
The 87-year-old won't be taking on the challenge solo, however, as she'll be joined each week by a special celebrity helper.
After the contestants get a crash course in cooking from some of the best in the business, they'll use their new skills to put on an impressive feast for a guest of honour and their loved ones.
Mary shared that she was looking forward to the new show: "I am very excited about this series."
"Teaching is in my DNA and I can't wait to share my knowledge and encourage the novice cooks – and with my celebrity sidekicks by my side we will make it fun all the way!"
Rumpus Media, who are creating the series, shared that they hope Fantastic Feasts "will inspire everyone to get into the kitchen and celebrate!"
The BBC haven't given a release date for the new show yet, but it will be coming to both BBC One and iPlayer.
The broadcaster also revealed back in June that they'll be releasing another Mary Berry series later this year, titled Mary Berry: Love to Cook.
They say that Mary Berry: Love To Cook will see the veteran star seek out "kindred spirits" and inspire the country to fall back in love with cooking.
Mary is most well known for her time spent as a judge alongside Paul Hollywood on The Great British Bake Off.
Mary was a staple of the show from its' very first episode back in 2010, but left the series after it moved to Channel 4 in 2016.
