'Below Deck Sailing Yacht': Daisy Kelliher Says She Did Not Go to Captain Glenn to 'Rat' on Chef Natasha

Daisy Kelliher from Below Deck Sailing Yacht shared that telling Captain Glenn Shephard about the poached eggs disaster was not her way of throwing chef Natasha De Bourg under the bus.

“Just to clear things up I didn’t go to Glenn to rat on Natasha I only went to keep him informed because it’s important he knows what’s going on so if there’s a complaint he’s prepared,” she tweeted during a recent episode. Shephard seemed unfazed with the intel but De Bourg was furious.

Chef Natasha: ‘Daisy is such a b*tch’

The guest ordered poached eggs. But De Bourg said poached eggs always come with hollandaise sauce even when Kelliher questioned her about the sauce. Of course, the guest sent back the dish and he was angry. The breakfast snafu came after the guests complained about dinner the previous night.

Kelliher wanted to give Shephard a heads up that breakfast wasn’t going much better. But as she was letting him know, De Bourg came walking through the room on her way to help clear the table. Kelliher immediately told De Bourg she was informing Shephard about the complaint. De Bourg seemed to brush off the issue. But deep down she was angry with Kelliher.

“Daisy is such a b*tch,” De Bourg says in a confessional. “Running to Glenn about hollandaise sauce. Are you f**king serious? If you are just bored, go dust a f**king lamp or clean some sh*t. You just want to kiss Glenn’s a**. I see who you are.”

However, what De Bourg may not have realized was that the guest continued to complain about the food. “How f**king hard is it to poach an egg?” the guest asked the other guests. “I can do it and I’m not a professional chef who’s worked at all the best restaurants in the world apparently.”

Do poached eggs usually have hollandaise sauce?

De Bourg wasn’t totally wrong in her assessment that poached eggs and hollandaise sauce go together. Eggs Benedict are poached eggs with hollandaise sauce, which is what Kelliher mentioned before she took the plate to the guest.

“Poached eggs are eggs that you crack, put into boiling water, and leave to cook,” according to Spoon University. The site explains how Eggs Benedict is served. “Poached eggs are used in dishes such as Eggs Benedict, which is an egg on a slice of ham on an English muffin and topped with Hollandaise sauce, and eggs Florentine, which is the same dish that just substitutes spinach for ham.”

Poached eggs can also come with  Béarnaise sauce. Other ways to top a poached egg include wine, avocado, or cheese sauce. However, there is no hard and fast rule that poached eggs are always served with a sauce. They can certainly be eaten plain, which was the guest’s request.

The remainder of the charter continues to experience hiccups and more guest complaints. It’s not over yet. Find out how the Parsifal III crew finish out the charter on Below Deck Sailing Yacht on Monday at 9/8c on Bravo.
