Billie Faiers rows with Greg Shepherd over buying daughter Nelly an iPod for her birthday and inviting 60 kids to lavish Greatest Showman-themed party
The Mummy Diaries star Billie Faiers, 29, has clashed with her husband Greg Shepherd, 33, over how extravagant the couple are going for their daughter’s fifth birthday celebrations.
In the latest episode of ITVBe show, the couple butted heads over Billie wanting to buy Nelly an iPod for her birthday.
As mum-of-two Billie suggests the gift to her husband Greg, he quips back: “I think no”.
To which Billie replied: “Do you know how disappointed she’s going to be on her birthday morning?”
Greg, who has discussed the issue of screen time with his wife in previous episodes, says: “I know but we’re just encouraging it more.”
Then Billie suggests: “What about if we say she's allowed to have it on the weekends?”
And Greg says back: “Don't get her one at all.” Speaking to the camera later, Greg adds: “I think Billie's contradicting what we're trying to do with the digital detox. It doesn't set a good example to the kids.“
Billie admits: “I don't know what to get her,” which leads Greg to suggest: “I just think she's getting a big party, we can just get her a couple of wrap-ups, which I'm sure she'll tell us what she wants. That's more than enough.”

The mum then agrees with her husband at first, but then says: “I'm up for getting it for her. So I guess it's just who makes the overall decision.”
This comes as the blonde beauty is also planning her daughter an extravagant Greatest Showman-themed birthday party and has invited around 60 kids to attend. Explaining the inspiration behind the theme in a separate clip, Billie says: “It's her favourite film that her friends know, it's nothing baby-ish.”
But, Greg seems taken aback by the lengthy guest list and questions: “When have we had a party with 60 kids?”

He later adds: “It's a little over the top for a kids party. We just about had 60 adults at our wedding. She's only been at school two minutes.”
And Billie explains: “She's got 20 kids in her class and six from other classes that she's friends with. Our family friends, friends' kids.”
This comes after Nelly was seen throwing an epic tantrum after Billie confiscated her iPad from her in last week’s episode of the reality series.
Nelly left viewers in hysterics when she threw a huge strop during a family meal after she was told she wasn’t allowed her iPad at the table.
Billie took the iPad away from Nelly, telling her: “It's not fair, let's watch it in a minute,“ before the youngster let out a mighty wail.
The reality star firmly stood her ground and told the tot: “We're not having the iPad darling, we all want to sit here and talk. No means no.“
Nelly furiously responded: “I want my iPad now! I want my iPad now! I want my iPad now!“ Before storming out the room and slamming the door.
