Caitlyn Jenner appeared on first version of I'm A Celebrity in the US

Caitlyn Jenner previously appeared on the US version of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! despite admitting she doesn’t know how the show works.

The sporting legend joined the first season of the American version of the show back in 2003 as Bruce, years before she transitioned, alongside the likes of entertainment reporter Robin Leach and actress Melissa Rivers.

At the time, Bruce got to the final week of the series but didn’t make it to the last three.

J Lo’s ex-husband Cris Judd ended up winning the spin-off, beating Joan Rivers’ daughter Melissa and radio presenter John Melendez.

Over the weekend, Caityln denied knowing how the competition worked when pressed about her stint in the jungle.

‘I am not allowed to talk about this until next week. I am not sure what I can say. I am not allowed to say anything,’ she said.

When The Sun reporter went on to wish Caitlyn luck, she replied: ‘Thank you. I don’t know how it works.’

I’m A Celebrity’s 2019 line-up is pretty impressive and Caitlyn is set to join the likes of Good Morning Britain’s Kate Garraway and Roman Kemp.

The reality star was one of the first stars to touch down in Australia alongside Match Of The Day’s Ian Wright and they were both photographed at Brisbane airport.

Presenters Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly reunited Down Under for the first time in two years over the weekend, as Ant skipped last year’s show following his drink-drive arrest.

The duo looked delighted to be back in Oz and shared a cute selfie to mark the occasion.

Extra Camp is back in business too as Emily Atack, Adam Thomas and Joel Dommett have all returned to the I’m A Celeb camp and captured their first day on set ahead of the 2019 series.

I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! launches this Sunday at 9pm on ITV.
