Cara Delevingne raked in £15.7m last year and affirmed her status as Britain's top model

CARA Delevingne is Britain’s top paid model — after making £15.7million last year.

Her earnings, on a net worth of £30.2million, dwarf those of Kate Moss, 46, who brought in £9million as the catwalk’s second biggest Brit earner.

But Kate has a bigger net worth, with £58million.

Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, 33, is in third place, making £8million last year, with a net worth of £22million.

Naomi Campbell, 50, made £5million last year and is also worth £58million.

Jourdan Dunn, 30, was the fifth highest earner, making £2.2million to help take her fortune to £9.5million.

But despite Cara’s monster earnings, which work out at £43,000 per day, the balance sheet warned: “The company is exposed to the risks associated with the Covid-19 pandemic.”

The figures also reveal Cara, 28, paid £2.5million in Corporation Tax and Social Security payments from her company Cara & Co.

As well as modelling and property, London-born Cara has been increasingly in demand for film work. She has also written a novel and released two music albums.

Cara has designed clothes for Burberry and DKNY, and starred in TV adverts for brands including Jimmy Choo, Rimmel and VW cars — often commanding seven-figure sums from each.

But even with millions in the bank, Cara has said money does not make her happy.

Speaking last year, she said: “Money is not everything.

"You get to the point where you’re like, ‘Oh, I’ve made money but I’m so deeply unhappy and alone’.”
