Casualty spoilers: Explosive row and steamy romp – but with a killer twist | The Sun

BIG tensions are brimming at Holby City hospital and some of them are reaching a boiling point.

This week in Casualty, Robyn gets an explosive exit while two other characters fail to fight back their mutual attraction.

Jacob Masters (portrayed by Charles Venn) has been ruffling many feathers within his team but it all comes to a head this week when he keeps Robyn Miller on shift for longer than intended.

The nurse played by Amanda Henderson is all set to leave the hospital for a fresh start in Wigan with her daughter and her fiancé Paul.

She gets ready to celebrate her departure but, once again, Jacob thwarts her plans by interrupting her leaving party to push the rest of the nurses back to work.

He explains there's been a major accident and he needs all hands on deck, while David Hide (Jason Durr) makes queries about agency staff.

Brutally dismissed by Jacob, David pulls him up when he demands that a high-risk patient is moved.

Jacob brushes off his concerns again, prompting David to take action by himself and Robyn quickly follows.

Fed up with his lack of empathy, Robyn overrides Jacob's instructions regarding a patient's boyfriend – and a massive row ensues between her and the clinical nurse manager.

But with his behaviour irritating more than one person in the ED, Robyn stands up to Jacob in everyone's name once and for all.

However, she gets no support and Charlie Fairhead (Derek Thompson) even turns his back on her, leaving Robyn to make a swift exit under a cloud.

Meanwhile, two other characters get closer, making the most of everyone looking the other way.

It all starts when Faith Cadogan (Kirsty Mitchell) joins Teddy Gowan and Iain Dean (Michael Stevenson) to treat the injured at the fairground.

She's alarmed when she hears they can't pull anybody out of the rubble until HEMS arrive at the scene.

This leads to Faith and Iain doing their best to keep the trapped patients as comfortable as possible – but they quickly realise they could be out of their depth.

The pair share a difficult shift which only inspires Faith to seize the day as she realises she cannot hold back from Iain any longer.

Faith and Iain share a passionate kiss in the ambulance station before arranging a date for after work.

But there's disappointment ahead for Iain when Faith's prior commitments get in the way.

BBC One viewers will also have to brace themselves for a huge twist during this week's episode.

Luckily, they only have a few days to wait as Casualty airs Saturdays at 9pm on BBC One.
