Coronation Streets hottest barmaids – Michelle Keegan to Catherine Tyldesley

Model and actress Michelle Keegan sadly departed Coronation Street over eight years ago on this day (June 23, 2014).

The star's cobbles character Tina McIntyre was tragically killed after her affair with Peter Barlow was exposed – with Tina meeting her end at the hands of Rob Connor.

Since then, Michelle Keegan has appeared in hit TV series including Our Girl and Brassic, but she is still beloved by soap fans for her Corrie role.

Her character Tina left a legacy as one of the Rovers Return's most iconic barmaids, alongside other soap favourites including Michelle Connor and Liz McDonald.

On the anniversary of Michelle Keegan leaving Coronation Street, Daily Star takes a look back at some of the soap's hottest ever barmaids.

Tina McIntyre

Brunette beauty Tina McIntyre began working at the Rovers Return in 2010, but her time as a barmaid came to a tragic end after she was murdered by Carla Connor's brother Rob.

Along with brawls with Kylie Platt at the pub, and her affair with Peter Barlow, Tina's time on the cobbles was not without its dramas.

Despite this, she still delighted local residents with her stylish outfits, cheeky wit and gorgeous smile during her time as a barmaid.

However, after Rob Connor discovered her affair with Peter, he pushed her off the roof of the builder's yard, with Tina sadly dying in 2014.

Emma Brooker

The gorgeous Emma Brooker may have left Coronation Street earlier this year, but her memorable moments at the Rovers Return live on – particularly that time she accidentally locked Gemma and Chesney in the basement of the pub.

Despite being fired after the mishap, she soon returned and continued to delight punters with her friendly smile as she served up their orders.

It was later revealed that she also had a link to Steve McDonald too after it turned out that she was his daughter.

However, Emma gave up pint pulling to return to her home in Australia after four years on the cobbles between 2018-2022.

Liz McDonald

Liz McDonald is a Coronation Street icon and was a familiar face behind the Rovers Return bar in the past three decades.

After arriving in Weatherfield with her family in 1990, the curly-haired fan favourite worked at the famous pub and later became a landlady between 2006-2011.

After a brief few years in Spain, pub-goers were delighted to see her pulling pints once more in 2013, before selling her shares in the pub and departing the cobbles once more in 2020.

Michelle Connor

Michelle Connor became another friendly face behind the Rovers Return bar in 2006, after she arrived on the cobbles working alongside hunky barman Ciaran, played by Boyzone's Keith Duffy.

With her iconic bob haircut, jaw-dropping style and friendly personality, Michelle was often there to lend a listening ear to those visiting the pub.

During that time she also became the fifth wife of Steve McDonald, becoming one of the pub's longest-serving barmaids until 2017.

However in 2019, after a total of 13 years behind the bar, she hung up her life pulling pints as she departed the cobbles.

She has since made a return to Weatherfield, becoming a wedding planner and the manageress of the Bistro.

Becky Granger

Another of Steve McDonald's wives to work behind the bar of the Rovers Return was Becky Granger, who married him in 2009 – three years after becoming a barmaid.

Becky worked in the Rovers Return for over five years until 2011, showing off her eye-popping outfits, glamourous make-up and memorable blond beehive hairstyle.

However, she later briefly separated from Steve and moved out of the pub, signalling that her time as a barmaid was coming to an end.

She later exposed Steve's new wife Tracy Barlow as a liar in front of all the pub-goers in the same year, before leaving Weatherfield for good.

Stella Price

Steve McDonald seems to have had connections to most of the Rovers Return barmaids – some romantic and some professional.

In 2011 he hired blonde beauty Stella Price, who was eventually revealed as Leanne Battersby's birth mother in a shock twist.

In another surprise, Stella departed the cobbles just three years later to start a new life in America, after her husband Karl was arrested.

He was found responsible for the death of Sunita Alahan, who Karl had an affair with – breaking Stella's heart in the process.

Before Stella left however after the shocking revelations, she sold her shares in the pub back to the McDonald family, keeping Liz and Steve a major part of the Rovers' history for some time to come.

Eva Price

Like mother, like daughter, Stella hired blonde bombshell Eva Price to help her run the Rovers Return – with the family duo becoming two icons in the pub.

With her glamorous outfits, blonde hair flowing past her shoulders and stunning make-up, Eva charmed the punters as she pulled their pints.

However, after giving birth to her daughter Susie in secret and following the death of Susie's father Aidan Connor, she left the Rovers Return and the town to start a new life elsewhere.
