Curtis looks awkward as Maura makes an emotional confession about how much she likes him on Love Island final dates – The Sun

LOVE Island's Maura Higgins is set to make a romantically charged confession to Curtis Pritchard – but the ballroom dancer couldn't look anymore awkward.

The Irish love-obsessive opens up to Curtis while on their final date on the island – but he's left dumbstruck as she reveals her feelings.

While in the villa, the fiery beauty receives a text, which reads: “Maura and Curtis. It’s time to get ready to leave the villa for your final date! #facethemusic #forbiddenfruit.”

The duo then get ready for their solo date – and it's there that 28-year-old model Maura confesses her feelings to the dancer.

Fittingly, the grid girl and the pro dancer share a final dance to the sound of romantic harp music – but even that couldn't fire him up.

Smitten Maura tells him on the date as they're sat down: “I know I don’t tell you a lot of the time that I like you, but I really do.

"You’re funny and I love your smile. When you smile, I smile.”

To which an uncomfortable-looking Curtis grunts and says: "Ah. Erm, I literally don't know what to say."

Desperate to find love and a man from the start – Maura – who originally had her sights firmly on boxer Tommy Fury – is fully loved up.

The stunner talks about her current beloved in the Beach Hut prior to her last date with 'manly' Curtis.

Maura says: “I’m really excited. The last one went really well, so I’m sure this one will be even better!”

Although his face may have said differently, Curtis does open up in the Beach Hut and says: “I’m just so excited. Maura makes me smile. She makes me happy and she makes me laugh.

"I could just look at her all day because she is absolutely beautiful. I’m a very lucky man.”

While on their romantic date, 'narcissist' Curtis – labelled by latest dumpee Anna Vakili – asks the grid girl: “Do you think your parents will like me?”

To which Maura replies: “Yes! Mammy would absolutely love you. I would be nervous to meet your parents.”

But ever saying the right thing, Curtis says: “My parents will love you.”

The couple have just come out the other side after coming to blows after the volcanic row between Anna and Jordan.

A fuming Maura was seen screaming at Curtis after finding out he had advised pal Jordan to pursue India Reynolds – even though he was in a solid relationship with Kim Kardashian lookalike Anna.

Back in the UK, dumped Love Islander Francesca Allen revealed that Curtis said he was only in ‘lust' with Maura and their relationship ‘sounded very short-term’.
