EastEnders spoilers: Whitney Dean makes horrifying discovery about Gray Atkins

WHITNEY Dean makes a horrifying discovery about Gray Atkins next week in EastEnders.

The serial killer has finally convinced Whitney to give them a chance at romance after months of obsessing over her.

But little does Whitney know that Gray murdered her fiance Kush Kazemi as well as his own wife Chantelle and barmaid Tina Carter.

Viewers know that Gray recently split from Chelsea after she called him out on his temper.

Next week, Whitney notices a pregnancy test in Chelsea’s bag but pretends she hasn’t noticed.

Chelsea decides to confide in Denise, but changes her mind when her mum assumes she’s hungover.

When Gray makes a swipe at Chelsea and announces he regrets dating her, Whitney is left feeling conflicted.

Whitney asks to meet Chelsea, who assumes she wants her blessing to date Gray.

But when Whitney brings up the pregnancy test, Chelsea is floored.

Will she deny it?

EastEnders bosses Kate Oates and Jon Sen recently confirmed the news that fans have been waiting for – Gray will meet his downfall this autumn.

Speaking to the Sun and other media, senior executive producer Kate Oates revealed that Gray’s story arc will soon be coming to an explosive end.

"He's a classic narcissist: everything he does is designed to fit a narrative that absolves him from guilt, and paints him out to be a good guy. I think in Gray, we have a character who tells himself that Chantelle died in a terrible accident; that Tina had to die so he could be there for his kids; and Kush had to go, because he and Whitney are 'meant to be'.

"He's the centre of his own universe, and nothing is his fault. But life is going to throw Gray a curveball; something out of his control, that will bring the story back to its grass roots as he tries to start again in a new relationship.

"But Gray hasn't been as clever as he thinks. Smoking guns are all over the Square, just waiting to be found. Gray's downfall awaits…"

Executive producer Jon Sen added: "We've obviously got the culmination or we're building to the kind of culmination of the Gray storyline," he said.

"It's kind of [the] next chapter. Obviously, it has been a very long story arc and it's taken many twists and turns, but we are kind of going back to the grass roots of the story, really pivoting it back to its origins, and it's gonna be a fascinating turn of events for the Atkins family."
