EastEnders star Louisa Lytton reveals baby's name after three day labour

EastEnders star Louisa Lytton has revealed her baby’s name following a three-day labour.

Louisa – who plays Ruby Allen in the BBC One soap – announced her pregnancy in March this year and gave birth to baby Aura Olivia Bhanvra back in August.

The actress was in labour at home for 14 hours before she was brought into hospital to have her waters broken.

Opening up about her birthing experience, Louisa spoke to OK! Magazine and said:

‘She was a few days early but after my contractions started, she really took her time. I was in labour for three days and I ended up having an emergency C-section. Clearly she’s going to be very dramatic like her mum!’.

Louisa continued, adding how she and fiancé Ben felt when meeting their daughter for the first time:

‘We were sobbing! It was such an ordeal to get her there, so by the time she was there, we were just so relieved.’

‘Olivia is my nan’s middle name’, Louisa explained.

‘People keep asking us where Aura came from, but we don’t really know! It was on our list. We just both loved the name, and we don’t know anyone else with it.’

Over in EastEnders, Louisa’s character Ruby has left Walford after Jean Slater (Gillian Wright) told the police she was her drugs contact.

Ruby’s arrest comes after months of lying to Martin (James Bye) and hiding the fact she had Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) wrongly arrested.
