Emmerdale fans disgusted as Charity sleeps with daughter’s ex in ‘low’ move

Emmerdale fans have been left fuming with Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) after her "lowest" move yet – sleeping with her daughter's ex.

Charity got drunk and came on to Al Chapman (Michael Wildman), whose affair with Charity's daughter Debbie Dingle (Charley Webb) was exposed over the festive period.

He was engaged to Priya Kotecha (Fiona Wade) and sleeping with Debbie at the same time, and now the whole village has turned against him.

But as viewers watched Charity invite Al upstairs, they were left disgusted by her behaviour, saying it was the "lowest" she'd ever gone.

One sickened fan tweeted: "Eww Charity he's been with your daughter."

Another tweeted: "How low can Charity go? No wonder her kids all hate her."

A third asked: "Oh Charity what are you doing?"

Someone else added: "Charity's reckless, feckless way of life just continues… or is she playing Al?"

They continued: "He'll undress and she'll grab a pic of him and post it in the village shop. I do hope it's the latter."

A fourth slammed: "They've really ruined a good character with Charity."

And a fifth added: "Charity you want Vanessa back but all you keep doing is kissing people and now sleeping with someone."

Charity has been on a major downward spiral in recent months, though this week she reached another low point when she slapped her son Noah (Jack Downham).

He was left bent over in agony after they raced against each other, and she was concerned about his health as he was wanting to join the army.

Noah was left fuming when he was rejected by the army when his health issues were revealed, and he raged at his mum.

He pushed things a little too far though, and Charity reacted by slapping him around the face.

Despite that, in Thursday's episodes he stuck up for Charity to Debbie, saying that they were all she had and they needed to stick with her.

Of course, they were completely unaware at what Charity was up to over at the Woolpack.

Could she be left on the outs with her family if her rendezvous with Al is revealed?

Emmerdale airs weekdays at 7pm, with an extra episode at 8pm on Thursdays, on ITV
