Emmerdale spoilers: Kim Tate schemes to buy the factory from Jai after devastating fire kills a villager
NEVER one to miss a business opportunity, Kim Tate makes moves to buy the sweet factory in Emmerdale next week after the devastating fire which will leave at least one villager dead.
As the factory lies in ruins, owner Rishi Sharma will be left wondering how he’ll be able to repay the high interest loan he borrowed from of Kim – played by actress Claire King in the ITV soap – to keep the business afloat.
When Jai Sharma – Chris Bisson – reads the terms of Kim’s loan, he’s livid and sees no way out of their dire financial situation.
Furious, he berates the factory staff when they ask about their owed wages before snapping at Rishi about the mess he’s caused.
Jai pays a visit to Kim at Home Farm and is stunned when she offers to buy the factory to help Jai’s finances.
It’s apparent that the Sharmas have no clue about how to turn their fortunes around.
While, for Jai, the pressure is mounting regarding the loan, as he hopes the insurance will come good.
But Jai is horrified later when he receives an email from the insurance company querying the fact the fire alarm was switched off at the factory.
With Kim taunting him, Jai is really feeling the pressure and meets with her to discuss the situation.
But will he end up selling his soul to the devil?
Rishi and wife Manpreet will also be feeling the pressure as fingers of suspicion start to point towards them.
Jai and sister Priya will be among those who think their dad started the fire as an insurance job to solve their financial problems.
In reality, the blaze is started accidentally by Kerry and Amy Wyatt as they rob money from the factory safe to pay off someone from Belfast who Amy owes money to.
