Vanessa Woodfield (played by Michelle Hardwick) and Rhona Goskirk (Zoe Henry) will clash in next week’s episodes and the former will end up making a huge decision about her future in Emmerdale. In heartbreaking scenes, Vanessa gets ready to leave the village as she realises she’ll have to go alone.

In upcoming scenes, Rhona is forced to make a big decision about buying Jamie Tate’s (Alexander Lincoln) share of the veterinary business.

Kim Tate (Claire King) arrives and the pair settle on an agreement.

Vanessa’s not happy when Rhona explains she’s purchased Jamie’s share but the new contract includes a series of clauses.

Lashing out, Vanessa tells Rhona she’s accepting a job in Canada and moving away for good.

The friends continue to argue but their relationship is left in tatters when they both bring up things from the past.

Vanessa wakes up the next day feeling anxious about the night before and panics when she realises Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) is missing.

She eventually finds Suzy with Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and assumes the pair have started using again.

Vanessa’s furious by the betrayal but Suzy admits she’s tired of continually having to prove herself.

Leyla provides evidence of their sobriety leaving Vanessa mortified.

She begs for Suzy’s forgiveness but the pair share an emotional heart-to-heart over the future of their relationship.

The couple are defeated when they realise their romance is over.

Unsurprisingly, Emmerdale’s residents assumed Suzy would be joining Vanessa in Canada.
