Emmerdale: Billy makes a confession to Charles
Emmerdale bids a final farewell to Victor Anderson (played by Eddie Osei) next week as the day of his funeral arrives.
Despite feeling he played a big part in his dad’s death, Charles Anderson (Kevin Mathurin) returns to the village to give an honest and emotional eulogy at the service.
In official spoilers released by ITV, Charles’ mother Claudette Anderson (Flo Wilson) watches on conflicted about her feelings over recent events.
She has also learned that her son set his father up before he died, in an attempt to keep him away from her, so will she be able to find it in her to forgive him?
Victor’s time in Emmerdale was short-lived after he arrived in April following his release from prison.

At the time of his death, Victor tried to evade the police after he was accused of stealing Manpreet’s relative’s necklace.
It later transpired that Charles had framed him for theft of the family heirloom in an attempt to get him away from his mother.
Charles has been riddled with guilt ever since and was convinced he caused his father’s death.
The day after Victor’s passing, he admitted he was behind the shocking crime that Victor was accused of.

However Manpreet subsequently confirmed that Victor likely died from a cerebral aneurysm. Shortly after his arrival, Victor had told his son that he had an unruptured brain aneurysm.
While Charles didn’t know whether to believe him or not, it’s now clear he was telling the truth.
Now he has come to terms with recent events, a contrite Charles also tried to apologise to Tom King (James Chase) after he viciously attacked him.
Charles lashed out at Tom after drowning his sorrows in The Woolpack and although Tom tried to defend himself, Charles pinned him to the bar in a disturbing incident.
