Emmerdale’s Kim Tate star on seeking revenge on Caleb after ultimate betrayal
Rosie Bentham speaks about joining Emmerdale at 15
Explosive scenes played out on Emmerdale this week, with Gabby Thomas (played by Rosie Bentham) discovering her husband-to-be Nicky Milligan (Lewis Cope) was gay on their wedding day.
Meanwhile, Kim Tate (Claire King) revealed she knew about Caleb Milligan’s (Will Aash) plan to bleed her dry.
The cunning businesswoman teamed up with Caleb’s half-brother Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) on Wednesday’s instalment of Emmerdale.
Cain had been deceived by Caleb too, so he and Kim have formed an unlikely alliance in a bid to bring him down.
Kim actress Claire recently spoke to Express.co.uk about Caleb’s downfall and her character’s plans for revenge.
Claire, 61, said: “It’s a really interesting plot, it’s the Dingles versus the Tates, so it’s nice to do this sort of thing as usually, I get entrances and exits.”
Addressing Caleb’s ambitions to take over Kim’s beloved Home Farm, the actress said: “I think [fans] would probably like to see the downfall of Kim Tate but others are on Kim’s side, thinking, ‘They can’t do that, she belongs in that house!’”
Now she’s exposed Caleb, who is the son of her ex-husband Frank Tate (Norman Bowler), what will she and Cain do to him?

“I think there will be an element of old Kim coming back,” the actress teased. “I think the term best-served cold might come into it, but she will bide her time I think.”
It would not be the first time Kim has been responsible for someone’s death on the ITV soap.
Caleb blames Kim for his father’s death after she watched him die of a heart attack in front of her decades ago before faking her own death.
In a famous scene, Kim told Frank as he lay on the floor dying: “You’re a dinosaur Frank, and you know what happened to them.”
Caleb has been desperate to make Kim pay for her crimes, but she’s outsmarted him. Will she and Cain turn to murder to get their revenge?
The Dingles are bound to disown Caleb when they find out about his scheming so it might be best for him to flee the village before anyone can get their hands on him.
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
