Emmerdale’s Mack and Aaron in ‘prison twist’ as Pollard shares police plans
Emmerdale characters Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) and Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) could be set to end up in prison after Eric Pollard (Christopher Chittell) woke up from his angina attack.
Before his collapse earlier this week, Pollard learned that it was actually Mack who had broken in, and Aaron had just been caught returning the stolen items.
When he returned home, Pollard told son David (Matthew Wolfenden) that he was going to the police – but he didn't know Mack was listening from behind a wall.
And while Pollard knows the truth – straight from Mack's mouth – it seems Aaron could still end up doing time, as Mack refused to let him get away with it, despite his innocence.
Mack headed straight round to the scrapyard to speak to Aaron after learning of Pollard's plans.
He told him: "I went to go tell him to back off, for your sake.
"The only problem now is he's threatening to go to the police and grass me up, which means we need to go back to the original story of you breaking in."
Aaron made it clear he had no intention of taking any blame, but Mack wasn't happy.
"You're gonna throw me under the bus?" he asked Aaron. "What happened to the Dingle Code? Brilliant… so I'm just left high and dry."
Of course, Mack isn't a Dingle – which Aaron and viewers on Twitter quickly pointed out.
He went on: "I'll say we both did it. If I go down, Aaron, you come down with me."
But Aaron fumed: "I am not going to prison for you, not now, not ever, so you tell the police the truth.
"Your best bet was Eric Pollard kicking it, but he didn't, so now it's game over."
