Musician Gregory has certainly been busy with appearances on Strictly Come Dancing and Graham Norton, as well as collaborating with Disney for their 2021 festive advert. Now he has shared details of what his fans can expect from him next.
Porter is still touring in the UK following his stellar performance on Strictly’s Halloween week.
After lending his voice to Disney’s new Christmas advert, in collaboration with the Make-A-Wish Foundation, his latest release is available now.
Previewing his new tracks, he said: “All Rise has been incorporated into the new record, Still Rising.
“A compilation of some of the duets I’ve done over the years is included in that. There are new songs included.”
Still Rising includes the aforementioned single Dry Bones, as well as Disney’s charity single Love Runs Deeper, which features vocalist Cherise.
It also includes several other collaborations, including duets with Jamie Cullum, Paloma Faith and Jeff Goldblum.
He is also joined by the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra and the London Symphony Orchestra, and even legendary cellist Yo-Yo Ma.
In addition to his new compilation album, Porter is also hard at work planning his upcoming world tour.
“I’m looking forward to the revival and the renewal of my career and touring, and that’s happening,” he confirmed.
Porter will be returning to the UK next year, playing shows in major cities such as Manchester and Brighton throughout May.
The singer also confirmed he’d be more than happy to collaborate with Disney for years to come after his performance on their new Christmas advert, The Stepdad.
When asked if he’d return to Disney, he said: “Well, if they’ll have me.”

“Yes, I would absolutely love to.” He then joked: “I’m auditioning in this interview.
“Disney, if you’ll have me, I will work with you until the end of time. Forever and ever!”
Porter revealed he already had a way-in with Disney before he had even signed on to their new Christmas short.
He recalled his relationship with the studio began with his meeting with Toy Story’s Tom Hanks when they both appeared on The One Show in 2016.
“I was on a television show with Tom Hanks,” he remembered. “And the host asked me to sing You’ve Got A Friend In Me.
“This was my connection with Tom, so he actually wanted to get pictures with me after the performance. It was amazing.”
Fans shouldn’t be surprised if Porter’s dulcet tones pop up in future Disney projects; until then, he’ll be appearing at the Festival of Remembrance and on Sunday Brunch this weekend.
