Kelly is homeless and in danger with busker Stu in Corrie
She may have been released from prison after Corey Brent (Maximus Evans) was jailed for the murder of Seb Franklin and brutal attack on Nina Lucas (Mollie Gallagher) in Coronation Street, but life is set to remain hard for Kelly Neelan (Millie Gibson) for some time.
Kelly arrives back on the Street and tries her best to make amends for her involvement in the fatal attack but, understandably, Nina is not prepared to forgive her.
Meanwhile, it seems like her home with Toyah and Imran may be in jeopardy due to her criminal record and the fact the couple may have fostered again.
Having always been a troubled girl who refuses to reach out when she needs help, Kelly is set to become homeless again.
Cold, alone and dishevelled, Kelly will be left in danger – although busker Stu may be about to reach out and help her.
Stu was the key witness to bang Corey to rights when he came forward and handed over the incriminating backback which Corey had tried to dispose of.
New scenes being filmed on location see Kelly sitting with Stu in a park.
In a hoodie, she looks like she has no possessions with her but will she be honest with Stu about what she is going through or will she maintain her bravado?
Kind hearted Stu could be the key to having Kelly from a nasty fate but even if he does persuade her to seek assistance, can she ever face returning to the Street where she is now a pariah?
Crushed with the guilt of what she has done, Kelly will be left feeling like she deserves this as punishment.
It remains to be seen whether she will be able to return to the Street or whether her homelessness situation will put her life at risk.
The scenes will air later this month.
