Married At First Sight bosses on hunt for singles to make ‘dream day’ come true

Bosses at Channel 4 behind the hilarious show Married At First Sight are looking for singles to walk down the aisle to someone they have just met.

Producers have promised that the next season will be "bigger and bolder than ever before".

In its advert asking for singles to come forward, it reads: "Are you sick of dating and want to find the one?

"We have a team of world class experts ready to find your perfect match… for a dream wedding with a luxury honeymoon!"

Every episode features four singletons who put their trust in dating experts Paul C Brunson and Gen Gresset to find them their perfect partner, as they marry a complete stranger who they meet for the first time at their wedding.

The show first debuted in the UK in 2015, and has seen many couples become besotted with one another and others it led straight to divorce.

But so far no couples of the UK version have stayed married for long.

The 2020 series, which is currently airing, has been different in more ways than one.

The Covid-19 pandemic hit midway through filming, putting even more pressure on the newly married couples.

However, this series is the first to possibly see a successful marriage come out of it.

Michelle, who is a primary school teacher, and Owen, who is an IT manager, hit it right off when they met on the aisle.

Their honeymoon saw them looking super loved-up as they got to know each other and seemed to get along very well.

Then due to the pandemic the pair decided to go into lockdown and isolate together at Owen's family home.

The pair recalled how this bought them closer and they even dropped the "love you" bombshell.

Owen shared concerns that, once lockdown was over, they might struggle to adapt to a relationship back in the "real world", outside of the bubble.

But so far, they are apparently falling more and more in love.

So what have you got to lose!?
