The Masked Singer's Mushroom has apparently been rumbled as viewers figure out that it's a Loose Women panellist.
When Mushroom took to the stage last week to perform her rendition of There Are Worse Things I Could Do from Grease, fans soon became convinced they had nailed it.
After the song, show judge Davina McCall then guessed the woman behind the mask could be former cruise ship singer and Loose Women panellist Jane McDonald.
The Mushroom also dropped a clue that she was from Wakefield which is the Yorkshire town she was born and raised.
Following the clue, viewers of the programme took to social media as they were convinced Davina was correct.
One fan said: "I feel like Mushroom is Jane McDonald, given by the clues she said about getting up early so I thought about Loose Women, then about travelling so I thought the cruise show thing, yeah I think it's Jane McDonald. #TheMaskedSinger"
A second added: "I think Mushroom is Jane McDonald as she is from Wakefield."
A third tweeted: "Mushroom is 100 per cent Jane McDonald, [it's] got to be. #MaskedSingerUK"
A fourth wrote: "Mushroom is Jane McDonald? W for Wakefield, been all around the world… #TheMaskedSinger"
However, other viewers of the hit ITV show have accused Irish comedienne Aisling Bea of "giving away" that she is Mushroom.
After trawling through her social media, fans believe that a past Instagram post
On last week's show, Mushroom performed the Bjork hit It's Oh So Quiet – and previously, Aisling had posted on Instagram a clip of Bjork performing at the BRITs in 1998.
And captioned it: "I love this so much."
After spotting the clue, fans took to Twitter, with one stating: "Not a certain celebrity referencing the artist of their first performance song on Instagram…"
A second said: "i mean matt lucas talked alot about bushbaby last series when he clearly wasnt, so maybe they are just joking about all the speculation or just playing us."
A third wrote: "Surely Aisling Bea should know better than to post about Bjork on her Instagram when that was Mushroom’s song last week…"
A fourth tweeted: "ok so aisling is now posting Björk videos on ig after mushroom performed a Björk song on the masked singer… is she winding people up or what??"
