Meet The Apprentice 2022 candidates including contestant who thinks sleep is waste of time

The Apprentice has confirmed its 2022 line-up with 16 new candidates set to face Lord Alan Sugar on the BBC One show.

The contestants include one entrepreneur who thinks sleep is a "waste of time", a Flight Operations Instructor who served in the RAF for 12 years and a Nicki Minaj superfan pharmacist.

The new 16 candidates will battle it out in the boardroom in order to win a life-changing £250,000 investment in their business.

Each task will end with the candidates being summoned in to fight their corner in the boardroom, with one final opportunity to escape the firing line.

With sixteen candidates, twelve tough tasks and one life-changing opportunity… who will become Lord Sugar's next Apprentice?

Occupation: Flight Operations Instructor
