‘Master of None’
You can’t get closer to The Office than a show that stars Aziz Ansari. Master of None tells the story of a bachelor living in New York City, who navigates racism, sexism, and inequality. Don’t worry! It’s (mostly) a lighthearted story and Aziz Ansari had a large part in the production of the television series.
“Season one is about not knowing what you want. Season two is about wanting what you can’t have,” Aziz Ansari said in an interview with Vogue. “We’ve always thought the show can be like real life. Sometimes certain people are in your life, and sometimes they’re not.”
Two seasons of Master of None are available for streaming on Netflix. There were rumors of a third season being produced, but there has been no premiere date confirmation from Ansari or Netflix.

‘The Office’
Perhaps the best-known show on this list, The Office is a fan-favorite, earning praise from viewers years after the finale aired. The show is now streamable on Netflix, so you can watch Steve Carell, Mindy Kaling, John Krasinski, and Ellie Kemper act as members of the Dunder Mifflin Paper Company.
“I finished The Office today (I know I’m super late) and my heart is full. I feel like the finale was actually amazing?! The best show finale I have seen, to be honest,” said one Twitter User. Some fans have even called The Office the best sitcom in history. Even artist Billie Eilish expressed her love for this sitcom, sampling an episode in one of her songs.
‘Arrested Development’
Originally premiering in 2003, this cast included actors like Michael Cera, Jason Bateman, and Portia de Rossi. It aired on Fox for three seasons, ending in 2006. Well, Netflix revived the show, and it’s back with original episodes added to season 5.
Arrested Development tells the story of Michael Bluth, a widower with a 13-year-old son, named George-Michael. The son is forced to keep his family together after his father is arrested and the family assets are frozen. Although the themes are dark, the original three seasons are especially funny, even winning the Emmy award for “Outstanding Comedy Series.”
Additionally, the cast of the past and present seasons include a few popular actors. That includes Tony Hale, who recently portrayed Forky in Disney and Pixar’s blockbuster movie, Toy Story 4.
