James Bond: Producers ‘want someone in his 30s’ says King
Two years on from the release of No Time To Die and fans are awaiting the official announcement of the next James Bond.
As speculation continues to be rife, a new report claims to have some news on the matter.
According to DailyMail.com’s insider: “Aaron Taylor-Johnson is currently the hot favourite to step into the iconic role.
“He’s the first choice for [Bond producer] Barbara Broccoli – he is the one to beat.”
Rumours have been swirling for months that the 33-year-old impressed the 007 boss in a secret audition and he remains the bookies’ favourite with odds of 11-4.

Meanwhile, there have also been reports that Christopher Nolan has had serious talks with Broccoli about directing two or three Bond movies.
The source continued: “He is extremely interested in doing something very different with the franchise. If he can get his way with producers, then he is all for it.
“Whether Nolan coming on board will affect the casting of Aaron Taylor-Johnson is currently a grey area – as he’s very particular with who he works with.”

Taylor-Johnson previously worked with Nolan on his 2020 sci-fi movie Tenet, so the pair are familiar with each other.
Meanwhile, another report claimed that the director wants to adapt Ian Fleming’s novels in their 1950s setting.
However, the rumour is that Broccoli wants him to helm a movie set in the contemporary period, as has been the case for every official Bond movie of the last six decades.
